About the Master

Welcome to the Master of Continuing Education in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS/RPAS) of High Performance by the University of Huelva (UHU) and the Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA), which is taught in the facilities of the School of Engineering of the University of Huelva and in the CEUS-CEDEA centers of INTA.

This Master is the first and longest running in Spain and continental Europe. It specializes in all types of UAS/RPAS, from minis (grams) to heavy (tons), or from short (meters) to ultra long range (thousands of kilometers).

The Master of Continuing Education in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS/RPAS) of High Performance by the University of Huelva (UHU) and the Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA), has as one of its priorities the professional development of its students in the aerospace industry, specifically in the UAS/RPAS sector, and aims to be a bridge between the University and the business sector.

Its main objective is to provide professionals specialized in UAS/RPAS to the CEUS-CEDEA complex, to the surrounding ecosystem of companies and, in general, to the national and international aeronautical sector. The completion of this Master offers students a high possibility of employment due to the need to hire professionals in this field of aeronautics.

The recommended profile for admission to the Master's Degree is to be in possession of a university degree in Engineering, Science or its equivalent. However, the Master's Academic Committee may consider other academic degrees for admission, after analyzing the student's curriculum.

For students who have not yet completed their university studies, but are close to completing them, the Master's Academic Committee may authorize enrollment. However, once they have passed the Master's program, they will not be able to apply for the degree until they have official documentation proving that they have completed their university degree. In the meantime, the Master's Secretary's Office may issue a certificate of completion.

The Master's Degree is mostly taught at the School of Engineering of the University of Huelva (Huelva) and at the "CEUS-CEDEA" centers of the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (Moguer).

The Master has a duration of 450 hours spread over approximately 8 months (from November to June of the following year). The course, which includes academic and practical activities at the University of Huelva and at the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA), starts at the beginning of November and ends at the end of June of the following year. During the whole course the students will carry out the Master's Final Project.

  • Design and construction of civil and military RPAS.
  • Propulsion, power sources and energy.
  • Control, navigation and simulation systems.
  • Avionics, communications and networks.
  • Civilian and military payloads.
  • Civilian and military RPAS operations and maintenance.
  • RPAS regulations, qualification and certification.
  • Entrepreneurship option for the creation of your own company.

The Master has a cost of 6.000€, which can be paid in 2 installments.

A maximum of 30 students are admitted for each edition of the Master in order to guarantee the quality of training and the individualized follow-up of each student.

Upon pre-enrollment, students must submit documentation regarding their university education and curriculum vitae which, once analyzed by the Master's Academic Committee, allows establishing an order of priority to carry out the enrollment. At all times the student is personally informed of the process.

The academic and practical activities at the University of Huelva (UHU) and at the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA), begin at the beginning of November and end at the end of June of the following year. During the whole course the students will carry out the Master's Final Project.
